iPhone 2.0.1… STILL Slow
I thought it must just be an issue with the 2.0 firmware, but nope its still happening on my 2G iphone running 2.0.1 firmware. If you dont know what im talking about then these videos highlight the problem perfectly.
The phone is generally unresponsive and slow to react to screen presses, typing is slow and laggy rendering sms and email virtually unusable, safari and various other apps randomly close and freeze and occasionally the phone will randomly restart. I have tried disabling things like push email, bluetooth and things i thought could be running in the background but it has made no difference. I am about to put the phone back to 1.1.4 until apple manage to sort this one out, which seems to be a rather big issue to miss.
